Join the University of Toronto Scarborough as a Coordinator for Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs. This role emphasizes collaboration with faculty and external partners to facilitate student internships.
As the WIL Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with academic units to develop meaningful work integrated learning opportunities for students. You'll engage with community organizations to create internships that enhance career readiness and civic engagement. This position requires proactive outreach and strong relationship-building capabilities to elevate WIL initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strengthen partnerships with community and industry stakeholders
• Create targeted outreach plans for program promotion
• Guide work-integrated learning project development
• Consult on programming needs with faculty and administrators
• Ensure best practices are followed in WIL initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent
• Minimum five years in WIL-related roles
• Proven track record in relationship management
• Familiarity with service-learning principles
• Strong organizational and communication skills
