The Toronto Catholic District School Board is looking for a Library Technician to join their team across various locations in Toronto. This is an ideal position for individuals who are dedicated to enhancing the academic experience through library resources and technology. You will utilize your skills in library automation, organization, and information management while making presentations and supervising library activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Display and promote learning materials for curriculum support
• Supervise library users and other locations during emergencies
• Manage resource circulation and library administration
• Classify, catalogue, and maintain learning resources
• Develop and control inventory systems for library materials
Requirements:
• Two-year Library Technician Diploma required
• Must be a practicing Roman Catholic with a reference letter
• Experience with library automation and office management software
• Ability to operate library technology and systems
• Current Vulnerable Sector Screening needed pre-employment
