The University of Toronto is seeking an Executive Director to oversee lifelong learning efforts within its Office of the Vice-Provost, Academic Programs. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and business development skills to facilitate educational opportunities that accommodate diverse learners. You will work collaboratively with various academic departments while managing continuing education services effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Innovate and lead lifelong learning and professional education strategies
• Oversee operations and management of continuing education teams
• Build relationships with community partners and stakeholders
• Implement marketing strategies to attract lifelong learners
• Evaluate and ensure quality of non-credit programming
Requirements:
• Minimum post-graduate degree;
PhD preferred
• At least 8 years of senior administrative experience
• Proven record in managing change in complex settings
• Extensive knowledge of educational services and public policy
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
