Early Childhood Parenting Facilitator TCDSB

Become a Parenting Facilitator with the Toronto Catholic District School Board, serving families and children aged 0-6 at our Early On Child & Family Centres. Deliver play-based learning programs, foster parental engagement, and support early literacy and numeracy development.

The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) invites passionate individuals to facilitate parenting education in a role centered on developing home/school partnerships. This position requires oversight of daily operations, collaboration with school staff, and ensuring a nurturing environment for children and families. Your efforts will play a key role in promoting positive interactions and linking families to essential community resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations in accordance with TCDSB policies

• Facilitate parental engagement in activities and decision-making

• Ensure consistent program delivery based on best practices

• Provide a safe and inclusive environment for children and caregivers

• Track program attendance and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Education Diploma and two years related experience

• Knowledge of family literacy and child development

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Familiarity with play-based learning and inquiry approaches

• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse environment
