This tenure stream position begins on July 1, 2027, at UTSC, where you will contribute to teaching and research in philosophy. Candidates must hold a PhD in Philosophy or a closely related field with a strong record of scholarly achievements and teaching experience that reflects a commitment to a welcoming classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake independent and impactful research projects
• Develop a robust, externally funded research agenda
• Teach a range of undergraduate and graduate philosophy courses
• Focus on core political philosophy teachings and courses
• Participate in the academic community and service activities
Requirements:
• PhD in Philosophy or related field by appointment
• Record of impactful research publications
• Evidence of teaching excellence and engagement
• Comprehensive teaching dossier is required
• Strong dedication to equity and inclusivity
