Part‑time Intermediate / High School Teacher/Tutor – Oxford Learning Scarborough Kingston Sheppard. The role requires teaching students in grades 8‑12 in math and science. Applicants have accurate curriculum knowledge and a passion for teaching.

• Work hours:
  
  3:00 pm‑8:00 pm after-school and evenings; some Saturdays 10:00 am‑3:00 pm.
• Commitment to end of term (June) preferred; summer extension is better.
• In‑person teaching only; must commute to Scarborough.
• Vulnerable sector screening mandatory.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Fourth‑year university students with extensive tutoring experience considered.
• Teaching certification an asset.
• Strong knowledge of current Grades 8‑12 math and science curriculum (Advanced Functions, Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Vectors, Physics, Chemistry, Biology).

• Teaching/tutoring math and science at grades 8‑12 (or equivalent).
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
• Strong math proficiency and ability to guide student understanding.
• Capability to manage up to three students simultaneously.

• Teach up to three students at a time at varying levels.
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Complete post‑lesson notes and daily student communication updates.
• Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.
