As a key player within Step Stones, this one-year contract role focuses on connecting youth to part-time employment that complements their school commitments. You'll build and manage partnerships with employers and educational institutions, ensuring that the youth receive the support they need for successful job placement. Your efforts will directly impact their access to valuable work experiences and educational pathways, while also promoting workplace readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain partnerships in education and employment sectors

• Coordinate job placements aligned with youth’s educational goals

• Prepare youth for job readiness through coaching and training

• Regularly monitor youth and employer partner progress

• Advocate for youth needs and address challenges in placements

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience in youth programming or employment services

• Strong background in partnership development

• Effective communication and relationship skills

• Understanding of youth-centered engagement approaches

• Familiarity with developmental and systemic barriers faced by youth
