Position: BGC Youth Mentor Position Available
Become a BGC Youth Mentor and play a vital role in shaping the futures of young individuals in the Jane and Finch community. This seasonal role spans from September 2024 to June 2025.

In this impactful position, you will mentor youth, design recreational activities, and help improve their academic engagement. Reporting to the Youth Coordinator, your contributions will enhance the overall welfare of participants at BGC Jane and Finch, where core values like belonging and encouragement guide your work. You'll also maintain a connection with community partners to support youth development positively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement daily activities that promote youth learning

• Ensure safety and supervision in program areas

• Support youth academically and socially

• Facilitate fun recreational events and workshops

• Document member progress and attendance

Requirements:

• Background in youth mentorship or related fields

• Understanding of group dynamics and recreational programs

• Experience with documentation and compliance

• Excellent communication abilities

• Commitment to community health and safety regulations
