At Makom After school, we are hiring Teaching Assistants for helping children from junior kindergarten to grade 5. In this role, you will collaborate with teachers and ensure a supportive, safe environment for students. Your involvement will include classroom support, communication with parents, and managing student activities in a caring atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport students from school safely to after school programs
• Work alongside teachers to assist in classroom management
• Cultivate a warm, inclusive environment for all learners
• Document classroom activities and communicate with parents
• Maintain records and submit required documentation on time
Requirements:
• Strong Hebrew language skills preferred
• Background in Jewish teachings and values
• Experience in educational or youth support roles
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Strong commitment to nurturing children’s growth
