Position: Program Coordinator for D-Camps Initiative
Become the D-Camps Program Coordinator at Diabetes Canada, enhancing camp experiences for youth. Lead program operations and ensure quality delivery in a supportive environment.

As a Program Coordinator, your role encompasses overseeing the execution of D-Camps programs and managing year-round activities. You will work collaboratively with camp staff, volunteers, and community partners, ensuring programs meet national standards while focusing on participant needs. Your leadership will help shape a positive and inclusive culture within the camp community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement camp programs and events

• Supervise and train camp staff during seasons

• Ensure adherence to national guidelines

• Engage with camper families and alumni

• Explore innovative approaches to program improvement

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in a relevant discipline

• 3-5+ years of experience in camp supervision

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Direct experience with youth and Type 1 Diabetes

• Valid Standard First Aid certification
