Position: Parenting and Family Literacy Jobs
Empower families in Toronto as an Occasional Parenting and Family Literacy Facilitator with the Toronto Catholic District School Board. This role emphasizes literacy development and positive parent engagement in children’s early learning journeys.

As a leader in Catholic education, TCDSB is dedicated to nurturing the academic and emotional growth of its students. This occasional position requires someone passionate about family literacy and capable of creating strong home-school collaborations. You will support children’s transitions to kindergarten while ensuring programs align with best practices in early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day activities of the Parenting and Family Literacy Centre

• Lead parenting education sessions focused on collaboration

• Collaborate with school and childcare staff for effective programming

• Ensure program delivery adheres to best practices

• Keep records of attendance and program participation

Requirements:

• ECE Diploma with two years educational experience

• Experience with families and children aged 0-6 years

• Understanding of early literacy and numeracy skill development

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

• Availability for travel to various locations
