Join the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) as an Occasional Library Technician, providing essential services to schools in the Toronto area. Candidates can work on a flexible, as-needed basis to cover staff shortfalls.
TCDSB seeks both Qualified Library Technicians with diplomas and Unqualified candidates with college-level credentials. This role fosters an enriched learning environment for approximately 84,000 students. Your work will support educational goals and community values within Catholic schools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cover library duties for absent staff members
• Assist in the organization of library materials
• Guide students and educators in using library resources
• Facilitate library programs and activities
• Maintain a welcoming and inclusive library environment
Requirements:
• Library Technician Diploma for Qualified positions
• College-level Diploma for Unqualified candidates
• Recent Pastoral Reference Letter required
• Application materials addressed to Human Resources
• Vulnerable Sector Screening completed post-offer
