As a Casual Early Childhood Educator/Assistant, you will partner with teachers and families to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating atmosphere.
Your role combines instructional assistance, environmental maintenance, and building strong relationships with co-workers and families. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a supportive team that values professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with classroom instruction under teacher guidance
• Maintain an environment prioritizing children's well-being
• Encourage child involvement through interactive activities
• Establish relationships with co-workers and families
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development
Requirements:
• High School/Equivalent and ECE Certification or RECE
• Meet provincial childcare employment requirements
• Current First Aid and child CPR certification
• Up-to-date immunization and health assessment
• Experience planning childcare programs
