Teach French at The Bishop Strachan School with strong language proficiency and inquiry-based learning expertise. This is a full-time contract commencing immediately.
The French Teacher teaches a full course load, with subject and grade determined by the school. The role uses inquiry and problem-based learning, differentiated instruction, classroom technology, and inclusive practices. It also supports student growth, family communication, and Senior School community participation.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach a full course load of French classes
- Prepare engaging lessons, outlines, and assessments
- Differentiate instruction for student needs
- Integrate technology to deepen conceptual understanding
- Communicate with parents about student learning
- Ontario College of Teachers certificate preferred
- French teaching qualifications preferred
- Intermediate or Senior teaching qualifications
- Strong Google Suite proficiency
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning
