The French Teacher teaches a full course load, with subject and grade determined by the school. This position requires lesson planning, assessment, differentiated instruction, and inquiry-based learning. The teacher also contributes to student well-being, family communication, co-curricular activities, and the broader school community.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach a full French course load
- Prepare inquiry and problem-based lessons and assessments
- Differentiate instruction for student needs
- Integrate technology to deepen conceptual understanding
- Communicate with parents about student learning
- Ontario College of Teachers certificate
- Intermediate/Senior teaching qualifications
- French teaching qualifications preferred
- Strong Google Suite proficiency
