Community Dance Program Coordinator

Teach inclusive dance programs with Canada’s National Ballet School while coordinating workshops, administration, and community relationships across diverse settings.

Reporting to the Director of Community Dance Programs, this contract, full-time position supports NBS Community Dance delivery. You will teach older adults, children, youth, and participants with diverse needs through in-person and virtual offerings. The work combines adaptable instruction, logistics, records, and communication.

• Teach classes and workshops for diverse participant groups
• Adapt approaches to support accessibility, creativity, and belonging
• Coordinate scheduling, studio setup, materials, waivers, and registration
• Maintain confidential records and assist evaluation data collection
• Build relationships with families, educators, and community organizations

• Minimum five years of professional dance education experience
• Strong teaching, classroom management, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Patience, empathy, creativity, and adaptability for diverse needs
• Excellent organization, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency and weekend flexibility
