Leadership Development Sessional Lecturer

Teach leadership development at the University of Toronto through seminars, courseware creation, and assessment of student learning. The appointment runs January 1 to February 28, 2027.

This Sessional Lecturer assignment centers on leadership styles, people management, and leading teams. Students examine leadership preferences, self-awareness, motivation, stress tendencies, adaptability, and anonymous 360-degree feedback. The course develops understanding of how others perceive students as leaders.

• Prepare and deliver course content, including seminars
• Create courseware supporting leadership development instruction
• Develop and administer assignments for students
• Mark and evaluate proposals, reports, and reflections
• Supervise day-to-day work of project groups

• Master’s degree preferred
• Equivalent professional and academic experience may be considered
• Knowledge of leadership styles and people management
• Understanding of motivation, stress, and team leadership
• Ability to maintain reasonable student contact hours
