The Strides Day Treatment program is an intensive mental health and academic program offered over the academic year. Our clients include children/youth and their families who are struggling with behaviour challenges that make it difficult to be successful in their current academic environment. These behavioural challenges may be internalizing or externalizing and are directly related to their current mental health challenges.
Prior to starting the program, some clients may have already received a mental health diagnosis. This is a family treatment program that helps to address relational issues, trauma and emotion regulation. The goal of the program is to strengthen individual and family functioning to support on-going success.
