Teach visual arts in French at TFS’s Toronto campus, using active-learning resources and strong bilingual communication skills. This full-time position begins September 2027.
As an Arts Teacher in the Senior School, you will support students from Grade 6 through Level V. You will collaborate with teachers and resource teachers while planning course materials and activities. The position focuses on understanding varied student needs, monitoring assignments, and providing useful feedback.
Key Responsibilities:- Create a supportive environment for students’ learning goals
- Understand the needs of different student groups
- Use resources that motivate active learning
- Track assignments and provide useful feedback
- Build trusting relationships with families and staff
- Excellent written and oral French and English
- Teacher certification and education degree
- Ability to teach in French at native level
- Experience teaching arts
- Knowledge of French curriculum;
International Baccalaureate knowledge is an asset
