Service Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 + annual bonus

About the Role:
Wondering what your day-to-day could look like as our new Service Technician? In this role, you’ll play an integral part of the service team, primarily responsible for commissioning and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on Sol Bank Storage Power Block (SPB). This role also involves fulfilling obligations under Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA’s) for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and perform tasks at various project sites throughout Ontario.
Experience with BESS or renewable power generation equipment in a service environment is required.
Responsibilities:
Commission CSI Energy Storage’s Sol Bank Storage Power Block Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of SPBs to adhere to warranty requirements
Provide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands-on support to maintain equipment and meet availability and capacity guarantees
Oversee and supervise sub-contractors on site when required
Assist in developing standard operating procedures and processes
Perform proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and switching procedures as needed
Analyze performance data determining root cause and performance trends
Required
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational background in Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
At least 2 years' of relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy
Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems and photovoltaic or Energy Storage system applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and execute in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a strong ownership mentality
Previous experience with a CMMS software program is preferred
