Position: Service Technician at Canadian Solar

Canadian Solar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure the operational excellence of our energy storage systems. In this full-time role, you’ll travel to various project sites to perform preventative and corrective maintenance in alignment with Long Term Service Agreements. Your expertise in renewable energy equipment will be vital for diagnostics, troubleshooting, and supporting our commitment to sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commission Sol Bank Storage Power Block systems

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks

• Provide onsite diagnostics and troubleshooting support

• Supervise sub-contractors when necessary

• Develop standard operating procedures for maintenance tasks

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in service roles

• Knowledge of medium voltage power systems

• Strong communication and project management skills

• Willingness to travel regularly across Ontario
