Pest Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance for the best extermination processes for the identified infestation source and whether the process will include pesticide use, mechanical traps, blockages, and/or other pest control methods.
• Establish contact with potential customers to create new business opportunities.
• Follow safety procedures and product instructions at all times when using fumigants, pesticides and power spraying equipment, such wearing protective gear guidelines.
• Manage schedule and route to ensure services are completed in a timely manner.
• Address customer needs and optimize their program on-site.

• A Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Customer service experience
• Willingness to obtain your Applicator's License
• Sales experience an asset

Candidates with prior experience will be preferred, but applicants with the following experience have successful transferable skills and be equally considered: route sales, route service, field sales, field service, service technician, territory representative, restaurant manager, restaurant server, construction, hotel manager, sales, customer service.

Compensation: $42,000 – $56,000 (Position qualifies for incentive bonus and commission on top of base salary). This position is not an existing vacancy within our organization.
