Position: Energy Manager at Infrastructure Ontario
Join Infrastructure Ontario as an Energy Manager, leading enterprise-wide energy and sustainability initiatives. Leverage your expertise in technical guidance and contract management to drive impactful projects.

As a key player reporting to the Director of Environmental Management Operations, this senior role focuses on managing energy and sustainability strategies. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, providing insights and oversight to ensure alignment with IO's strategic priorities. Your responsibilities will also include advising on energy performance risks and optimizing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead energy and sustainability projects across the enterprise

• Identify and mitigate energy performance related risks

• Provide strategic recommendations to influence process optimization

• Monitor energy industry trends and recommend initiatives

• Oversee validation of energy performance against contracts

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in environmental studies or engineering

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Energy Management & Sustainability

• Knowledge of LEED and building codes/standards

• Familiarity with energy modeling programs like eQuest

• Exceptional communication skills for collaboration
