Sustainability and Energy Management Expert

Join Infrastructure Ontario as a Sustainability and Energy Management Expert. Play a crucial role in championing energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives across multiple facilities.

Reporting to the Director of Environmental Management Operations, you will be instrumental in ensuring the success of energy management outcomes in alignment with provincial government priorities.

Your role encompasses reviewing energy designs, validating contract performances, and enhancing IO's LEED guidelines for new projects, while assisting in GHG accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and guide energy modelling reports for projects

• Validate the P3 contractor’s energy performance

• Advise Ministries on efficiency for various building types

• Manage annual GHG accounting and reporting tasks

• Oversee compliance with LEED credits in new constructions

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in a related field

• 5+ years of relevant experience in energy management

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

• Collaborative approach across teams and stakeholders
