Drive sustainability initiatives at Infrastructure Ontario as an Energy Manager. Leverage your expertise in energy management to influence strategic energy projects and climate risk management across the organization.
As Energy Manager reporting to the Director of Environmental Management Operations, you will lead enterprise-level energy and sustainability programs while maintaining crucial relationships with stakeholders. This role mandates a proactive approach in identifying energy performance risks and offering technical guidance aligned with operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead enterprise-wide energy and sustainability projects
• Identify and mitigate energy performance-related risks
• Provide strategic recommendations to the Environmental Management team
• Develop technical guidelines and recommendations for the enterprise
• Monitor and interpret industry trends for alignment with best practices
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree with 8+ years experience in energy management
• Knowledge of building systems and asset management
• Familiarity with energy modeling programs is an asset
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience in new construction energy requirements
