Team Lead Senior Revit Technologist

Get to Know Our Client:
Talent Sphere is partnering with a mid sized architecture firm with multiple offices looking to add a leader to their modern Toronto office. This Revit based firm specializes in large scale private distribution centers; big footprint (300k+ square feet) technical projects, with longer duration, requiring expertise and above average project coordination skills.

The role:
Reporting to the Associate Project Director, this is a leadership role requiring experience in industrial projects; the ability to oversee a project A-Z while mentoring other technologists. You will join a dynamic team with projects across Canada in a meritocratic atmosphere where your talents are appreciated.

What they seek:

  • Degree in Architectural Technology or Bachelor’s in Architecture from an accredited institution
  • 10+ years full time experience, including 4+ with large scale industrial projects focused on production & mark-ups & mentoring others
  • Advanced Revit and BIM; proven track record of working with multiple competing stakeholders
  • Technically inclined; meticulous problem solver; delivering high-quality design solutions that align with client goals, regulatory requirements & industry standards.
  • Experience supervising production drawings & proactively identifying unforeseen risks
  • Ability to coordinate closely with internal and external teams, including clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies, to drive project progress.
  • Adaptability & above average organizational skills; references from others including senior staff & people previously mentored
  • A car and G license; experienced with contract administration duties; open to occasional travel
  • Commitment to design excellence & a desire to go the extra mile when needed
