Drive innovation as a Service Technician for Energy Storage Systems with Canadian Solar. This full-time role involves critical maintenance and commissioning of systems across Ontario.
In this position at Canadian Solar, you’ll ensure the operational integrity of Sol Bank Storage Power Blocks by performing both preventative and corrective maintenance.
Your role is crucial in fulfilling our Long Term Service Agreements with clients, making efficient and effective service delivery a priority. Your knowledge of renewable energy will empower you to support key projects in Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
• Commission Sol Bank Storage Power Block installations
• Execute preventative and corrective maintenance procedures
• Diagnose and troubleshoot onsite equipment issues
• Mentor and supervise sub-contractors as needed
• Develop and uphold operational procedures
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience
• Knowledge of medium voltage systems and codes
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout Ontario
