As an Assistant Shift Engineer, you will ensure the safe and efficient running of the facility. Your responsibilities will include performing essential shift engineer duties, engaging positively with team members and regulatory authorities, and following safety protocols. You should be skilled in basic maintenance and able to work independently or in a team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate steam plant equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate operational records
• Complete maintenance tasks as required
• Collaborate with plant personnel and contractors
• Work safely at heights and in confined spaces
Requirements:
• 2nd Class Power Engineer certificate (TSSA)
• Technical proficiency and commitment to safety
• Flexibility for rotating shifts
• Valid Ontario driver's license
• Attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
