Laboratory Technologist

Position: Laboratory Technologist at CSA Group
Enhance your technical skills as a Laboratory Technologist with CSA Group, involved in planning and maintaining specialized test equipment. This role supports equipment operational needs with an emphasis on troubleshooting and repairs.

Reporting to the Lab Infrastructure Manager, you will work autonomously or with a Senior Technologist to ensure optimal laboratory operations. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing faults in laboratory equipment, maintaining detailed work records, and designing test systems. You will play a critical role in supporting technical staff with troubleshooting and equipment selection, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain laboratory equipment equipment effectively

• Troubleshoot and correct faults in test systems

• Design and modify test equipment and documentation

• Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff

• Monitor performance and calibrate measuring instruments

Requirements:

• 3-year Technical Diploma or equivalent

• 2-4 years' experience in laboratory or metrology

• Knowledge of physics and mathematics

• Familiarity with LabVIEW, Python, or C

• Safety training in electrical and industrial areas
