Field Technician - Solar Operations & Maintenance

Recurrent Energy seeks an O&M Field Technician for solar farms in the Kingston area. Bring your troubleshooting expertise and strong mechanical skills to ensure operational efficiency.

In this role, you will troubleshoot and perform maintenance on various solar farm equipment. Your strong organizational skills will aid in meeting uptime and production targets. You'll thrive working both independently and within a dedicated team, emphasizing system performance and continual improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and rectify daily project system issues

• Maintain equipment per scheduled maintenance plans

• Oversee and supervise sub-contractors on-site

• Prepare necessary documents for material procurement

• Assist in project commissioning and best practice documentation

Requirements:

• 2-5+ years in field work, especially in renewable energy

• NABCEP Certification preferred

• Proven experience in electrical machinery repair

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Flexible availability for emergencies and off-hours work
