EHS Co-op Student at Aecon

Advance your future with Aecon as an Environment Health & Safety Co-op Student. Gain hands-on experience in EHS systems and performance initiatives while supporting the Shared Services team.

This is a 4-month opportunity beginning Fall 2026, ideal for students in Occupational Health & Safety or related fields. You will engage with various teams to enhance environmental and safety performance while mastering reporting tools and project coordination.

This role offers firsthand exposure to the construction industry's safety protocols and collaboration frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support EHS Shared Services team on multiple projects

• Coordinate and organize EHS data and reports

• Prepare dashboards and performance summaries

• Maintain EHS systems and assist with troubleshooting

• Track incidents and safety metrics effectively

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a related post-secondary program

• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Well-developed organizational abilities

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
