BIM Revit Detailer at Black & McDonald

Black & McDonald is seeking a skilled BIM Revit Detailer in Scarborough to support electrical construction projects. Utilize your expertise in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks to ensure high-quality installations and collaboration.

In this role, you will support the electrical ICI team through all project phases, focusing on detailed preparation and collaboration with project managers and trades. Your responsibilities will include creating accurate installation drawings, maintaining the model’s integrity, and ensuring it reflects field conditions. A proactive approach and strong organizational skills will foster successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop electrical installation drawings from conceptual designs

• Collaborate with multiple teams and project managers

• Track and maintain accurate as-built drawings during projects

• Update models based on site conditions and changes

• Ensure compliance with design intent through quality checks

Requirements:

• Education in a relevant field related to Revit

• Familiarity with electrical installation procedures

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks

• Experience or training in Building Information Modelling

• Strong attention to detail and flexibility in approach
