Senior Service Technician at e-STORAGE

Become a key player at e-STORAGE as a Senior Service Technician in Ottawa, Ontario. Focus on commissioning and maintaining advanced battery energy storage systems to propel renewable energy initiatives forward.

In this senior role, you’ll join a dedicated service team tasked with commissioning Sol Bank Storage Power Blocks and performing essential maintenance. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of service experience, specifically within renewable energy systems. Travel throughout Ontario will be required to manage projects effectively and ensure compliance with Long Term Service Agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commission Sol Bank Storage Power Block systems

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance for SPBs

• Provide diagnostic and troubleshooting support onsite

• Oversee subcontractors when needed

• Develop standard operating procedures for efficiency

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Minimum 5 years of relevant service experience

• Knowledge of energy storage systems and codes

• Excellent communication and multitasking skills

• Willingness to travel over 50% of the time
