Contract and Location This is a contract position (initially 4-6 months) with a strong possibility of extension or conversion to permanent. The role is hybrid, with onsite work required for testing and lab activities—especially during onboarding.
Responsibilities Set up and support EMC and environmental tests (such as temperature and vibration).
Work with electronic test equipment.
Prepare clear, detailed documentation including test plans, procedures, reports, and EMC analysis.
With experience, participate in customer discussions to help explain results and compliance outcomes.
Qualifications Hands-on EMC experience and a solid understanding of hardware certification processes.
Experience in railway signaling is a plus, but candidates from aerospace, avionics, automotive, industrial electronics, or certification labs are welcome.
Comfortable working with electronic hardware, able to document your work clearly, and confident communicating technical information.
A degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) is required.
Compensation Hourly Rate Range: $55-$58
