Electrical Design Engineer – Aerospace

We are seeking a Electrical Design Engineer to join a team and work on cutting‑edge electrical and electro‑optical hardware for aerospace applications.

• Designing and developing electronic hardware circuits for aerospace projects.
• Creating electrical schematics, BOMs, and PCB designs using industry‑standard tools.
• Supporting the generation of hardware and electro‑optical system requirements and design documentation.
• Assisting with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of hardware systems.
• Working cross‑functionally with systems, mechanical, and software teams to ensure seamless development.
• Participating in failure investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Supporting design reviews, qualification testing, and first article inspections (FAI).

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Electro‑Optical Engineering.
• 3 years of relevant hardware/electrical design experience.
• Ability to work with ITAR/CGP restricted data.
• Familiarity with electrical design for aerospace applications and compliance with industry standards (e.g., MIL‑DTL‑7788, DO‑160G).
• Experience with Altium Designer or similar schematic and PCB layout tools.

• Knowledge of LED and incandescent lighting in airborne control panels.
• Experience in electromagnetic compatibility, ESD, and transient immunity design.
• Understanding of hardware manufacturing processes, avionics components, and industry standards (IPC‑2221, J‑STD‑001, IPC‑A‑610, etc.).
