Eg is Canada Ltd is seeking an Intermediate Pavement Engineer to support the overall success of Major Projects in Canada. The role reports to the Senior Pavement Engineer and contributes to projects with a focus on pavement engineering elements.

Responsibilities- Reporting to the Senior Pavement Engineer, the Intermediate Pavement Engineer will be responsible for supporting the overall success of Major Projects in Canada for Egis Canada Ltd.
- Act in a supporting role on the delivery of pavement engineering elements of Major Projects, including airfield pavements, Light Rail Transit (LRT), flexible and rigid pavement design, from inception to completion.
- Monitor industry standards and developments, assess client needs and make concrete decisions on proposed solutions. Monitor project financial performance and invoice clients promptly.
- Develop and carry out site investigations for a variety of pavement design clients.
- Participate in the preparation of Engineering Documents for a variety of geotechnical deliverables.
- Prepare technical designs, specifications, reports and technical documentation.
- Monitor project schedule to ensure delivery by agreed-upon due dates.
- Advance projects through the concept and detailed design phases, manage existing clients and develop new clients.
- Liaise with clients, government and/or regulatory bodies as well as contractors.
- Completion of a University degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng.).
- Minimum 5 years of progressive related pavement design experience within a professional services environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with clients and other relevant stakeholders. Thorough knowledge in Municipal Engineering including policies, regulations, guidelines and operational procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in delivery of large scale projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. French an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and ability to think creatively; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
