Your OpportunityWe are currently seeking a Civil Engineering Co‑op Student to become part of a dynamic transportation group specializing in the planning and design of major provincial transit infrastructure, rail, P3 design‑build and related local transportation projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in providing professional services to public and private sector clients.
- Work as part of a dynamic team on various support activities.
- Provide support for a large‑scale LRT, road reconstruction, utility, and/or environmental assessment project.
- Perform office work with potential for field visits.
- Other duties as assigned, providing general assistance to project engineers and project managers in Stantec’s transportation group.
- Self‑motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and teamwork ability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and knowledgeable in transportation engineering software such as AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- Driver’s license and vehicle is an asset.
- Completion of high school and/or enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree/diploma program.
- $23.37 - $32.07 Hourly
In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions where required. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
