Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly skilled Quality & Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives, optimize processes, and strengthen our quality management systems across the business.
As a key member of the Quality and Operations team, you will lead critical improvement projects, champion Lean methodologies, and ensure our products, processes, and documentation meet the highest standards. This role blends hands-on problem solving, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a major part in elevating quality, reducing waste, and building a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Pay Rate: $75,000 - $90,000/year (based on experience)

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years' engineering experience in Quality, Operations, or Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing environment (high-volume, high-mix preferred).
  • Engineering Degree or Diploma (Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering preferred)
  • An electrical background and understanding would be beneficial
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience developing processes, writing procedures, and delivering training.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and time management abilities.
  • Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and visualization tools.
  • Experience with ERP systems and solid understanding of relevant financial metrics.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Yellow or Green Belt preferred).
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
Responsibilities:
  • Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives to drive waste reduction, efficiency gains, and operational excellence.
  • Conduct in-depth Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve product and process issues.
  • Use Lean tools-Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, 5 Whys, SMED, and more-to analyze, develop, and optimize manufacturing and administrative processes.
  • Maintain and improve SOPs, work instructions, and quality system documentation.
  • Support Quality Lab operations, including equipment calibration, testing procedures, and overall lab readiness.
  • Perform in-process, product, and system audits; support internal and external audits to ensure full compliance.
  • Oversee compliance with UL, CSA, FSC, and other required quality management system standards.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy, audit readiness, and ongoing alignment with regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Work closely with Engineering on DFM (Design for Manufacturability), change management, and validation of process or design changes.
  • Provide data-driven support on continuous improvement projects impacting design, workflow, and throughput.
  • Monitor and report key Quality and CI metrics: scrap, rework, FPY, audit scores, CAPA cycle time, cost savings, and more.
  • Provide timely insights to leadership to support strategic decisions and ongoing improvements.
  • Offer real-time support on the production floor- including occasional off-shift support- to rapidly address quality issues and sustain improvements .
