Job Responsibilities
16 month termMechanical design/changesWill need to work with Design Engineers, technicians and assemblersCost analysis and cost reduction projects & ideasAnalysis/rationalization of manufacturing processGenerating production drawings/ Generating required documentationGenerating electrical schematicsNew product/machine implementation in productionWriting manuals for customized productsWorking with the CSA authorities to get the products certifiedManaging inventory & creating the Bill of Materials for projectsOther duties as assigned by Design Engineers or Engineering ManagerJob Requirements
16 month termMust be in Year 3 of Program:
Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Industrial Process or MetallurgyMechanical design using sheet metal and machiningDrafting using:
Solid Edge (3D);
Auto CADAnalysis/streamlining of manufacturing process,Basic knowledge of electrical circuitsKnowledge of Canadian codes and standardsMS Office applicationsExperience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Visual Basic
