V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Data Architect/Engineer for our premier client in Toronto, Ontario.


Education and Experience »

• Data Architecture, Data Engineering and Reports.
• Experience in Oracle, Snowflake and Postgres.
• Power BI/Tableau experience valuable but not high priority.
• Git, Jenkins/CI/CD, Automated code deployment.
• Self-starter, Agile.
• Understand self-service consumer needs, data as a service.
• On-prem environment, need understanding of cloud platforms.
• Power BI, Tableau, report development.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, maintain Spark, Scala, PySpark and Python.
• Design, implement, maintain RDBMS, Views and materialized views, Write, debug Stored Procedures.
• Translating business requirements, technical designs.
• Write complex SQL queries, ANSI SQL standards, Snowflake SQL, PL SQL.
• Data pipelining, data product delivery to reporting users.
• DBA capabilities: Fine tune databases, data process analysis, monitoring, tuning queries, data loads.
