Overview

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a recent graduate to develop leadership skills while learning about the divisions within Otis as a Field Operations Trainee.

During this 6-month training program, you will have the opportunity to work in different departments within Otis — from New Construction, Service & Repair, to Modernization — gaining experience to transition into a field management position in an Operating Territory after the training program completes. You will develop product, safety knowledge and field management expertise by shadowing our mechanics and field managers for a significant portion of the program.

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related technical program, is required

• Previous team lead or supervisory experience is considered an asset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Proven ability to manage conflict, coupled with the ability to work collaboratively
• A valid driver’s license and a car are necessary
• Must be willing to relocate to another branch within the region

Successful candidates must be willing and flexible to relocate to another Otis Canada Operating Territory if needed.
