Position: Field Environmental Inspector for Transportation Projects
Support construction compliance as a Field Environmental Inspector. Ensure environmental protection measures are effectively implemented on-site and conduct essential inspections to mitigate impact.

This position involves active monitoring of construction conditions and collaboration with the Environmental Compliance Officer. You will inspect ongoing work around watercourses, manage reporting on environmental impacts, and lead training initiatives on environmental awareness.

Your role is key to maintaining environmental integrity and enhancing compliance measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections to ensure adherence to environmental regulations

• Monitor construction activities and document compliance issues

• Recommend actions to address identified environmental deficiencies

• Collaborate on developing monthly environmental reports

• Facilitate training sessions on environmental compliance for team members

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of environmental monitoring experience

• Certification as Canadian Certified Inspector of Sediment Control preferred

• Strong communication abilities with contractors and regulatory bodies

• Skills in preparing reports and technical documents

• Willingness to work on-site across various weather conditions
