Position: Cerebras Performance Engineer Role
Be a part of Cerebras' innovative Runtime Team as a Performance Engineer. Optimize performance for high-performance ML training and inference solutions on unique hardware.

In this role at Cerebras, you’ll focus on enhancing the performance of our CS-3 system through extensive optimization of the software driver, laden with modern power and capabilities. You'll bring your strong background in performance engineering to work collaboratively with architecture, research, and product management teams. Engage with the AI community to drive solutions that elevate our computational frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize software for efficient training and inference workloads

• Develop robust algorithms for data handling and synchronization

• Employ CPU optimization techniques for performance gains

• Conduct profiling and minimize OS level overheads

• Collaborate on future AI architecture designs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a related area

• Minimum of 5 years in performance engineering roles

• Proficient in C/C++ and familiarity with script languages

• Experience with systems-level tuning and memory optimizations

• Knowledge of distributed systems and compiler technologies
