Product Security Engineering

Position: Movable Ink Product Security Engineering Role
Join Movable Ink as a Product Security Engineer, focusing on securing codebases and fostering safe development practices. Your expertise will directly impact our software delivery and security strategy.

In this role, you will utilize your knowledge in application security to implement and maintain various testing tools. Collaborating closely with both Security and Engineering teams, you will prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities to ensure the robustness of our software before production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement static application security testing utilizing Semgrep

• Oversee software composition analysis to check for vulnerabilities

• Integrate security scanning within CI/CD pipelines

• Lead efforts in dynamic application security testing

• Document best practices and provide developer education

Requirements:

• 2+ years in relevant application security experience

• Practical experience with SAST, SCA, and secrets scanning tools

• Understanding of CI/CD processes and Git Hub Actions

• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities

• Strong communication skills, particularly in documentation
