Transform transit systems with Jacobs as a Senior Transportation Planning Engineer. This role emphasizes multimodal integration and strategic planning across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
In this senior role, you will lead impactful transit corridor projects, managing feasibility studies and conceptual design for Bus Rapid Transit systems. Your collaboration with municipalities and regional stakeholders will be critical in navigating the design landscape for one of Canada's most dynamic urban regions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead transit corridor planning and feasibility studies
• Oversee conceptual designs for Bus Rapid Transit corridors
• Coordinate with agencies such as Metrolinx and City of Toronto
• Prepare technical reports and stakeholder presentations
• Mentor junior staff and participate in knowledge sharing
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field;
Master’s preferred
• P.Eng. designation or eligibility within 6 months
• 10+ years in transportation planning with transit focus
• Proven collaboration with GTA agencies
• Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and modeling software
