Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Assistant Surveyor will assist in operating surveying equipment, capturing critical measurements, and maintaining organized field notes. You will enhance project accuracy by adhering to health and safety standards while working closely with survey teams and engineers in various outdoor settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and calibrate surveying instruments
• Capture distances, angles, and elevations precisely
• Maintain organized field notes and digital data
• Assist in preparations of survey plans and CAD drawings
• Conduct field testing of various materials
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
• 1-3 years of construction surveying experience preferred
• Familiarity with survey instruments and software
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license required
