Elevate municipal infrastructure initiatives as a Utility Design Engineer with Canada's Municipal Infrastructure team. Design and coordinate major utility systems while collaborating with various disciplines to ensure successful project delivery.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, alongside a P.Eng. designation and 4-7 years of experience in municipal infrastructure. You will engage in the preparation of technical drawings, reports, and specifications while liaising effectively with project teams and external stakeholders to ensure designs meet municipal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare civil and utility designs for municipal infrastructure
• Coordinate internal disciplines for integrated design delivery
• Assist in utility coordination and conflict resolution
• Ensure adherence to municipal codes and project specifications
• Manage design packages for accuracy and completeness
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and P.Eng.
• 4-7 years of municipal infrastructure experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D; BIM knowledge preferred
• Familiarity with Ontario regulations and Transit Rail projects
• Valid Driver’s License required
