Egis Canada seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer with expertise in Electrical Systems for Nuclear and Oil & Gas projects. Drive complex design implementations while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
In this senior role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of sophisticated electrical systems. With over 10 years of experience, you'll mentor junior engineers, ensure compliance with regulations, and engage with clients to identify project needs. Your contribution to continuous improvement initiatives within the Electrical department will also play a crucial role in refining engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement electrical systems for various projects
• Develop design documentation following industry standards
• Collaborate with architects and civil engineers
• Mentor junior engineers and design staff
• Ensure regulatory compliance with local codes
Requirements:
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation required
• 10+ years' experience in electrical engineering
• 5 years in Nuclear, Oil & Gas, or Switchgear projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and design software
• Strong communication and project management skills
