Design Engineering Manager

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering is seeking a mid-level Design Engineering Manager with over five years of experience. The role encompasses oversight of design engineers, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring compliance and quality of deliverables. You'll interface with construction leaders and foster relationships with external partners while identifying design-build opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Kiewit design engineers and subconsultants effectively
• Manage project schedules and budget for successful outcomes
• Oversee constructability reviews and technical challenge resolutions
• Maintain relationships with external design partners
• Support design-build pursuits from strategy to award
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years experience in design or construction management
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
• P. Eng required or Engineer in Training
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel 25%-50% across North America
Drive quality design solutions on the Union Station Expansion Project while ensuring safety and efficiency.
