Position: Lead Systems Engineer for Mining Vehicles
Elevate your engineering career as the Systems Engineering Team Lead at Kovatera, focusing on innovative electrical and hydraulic systems for mining vehicles. In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide R&D efforts and mentor your team.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will oversee the planning, design, and documentation of control systems. Your expertise in battery-electric solutions will be critical as you manage a team of Electrical Technologists and Hydraulic Specialists. This position offers the opportunity to influence the entire Kovatera product line and collaborate with key vendors for successful product deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical and hydraulic systems for vehicle control

• Create detailed wire harness models and documentation

• Ensure best practices for cable routing and securing

• Supervise programming of PLC, CAN bus, and HMI systems

• Address troubleshooting needs during production

Requirements:

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience

• Extensive knowledge of engineering drawing interpretation

• Proficient in CAN-BUS and Ethernet designs

• Familiar with PLCs and software tools

• Experience with off-highway BEV machines preferred
